1. About these Terms
We wrote these short on purpose so you'd actually read them. They cover the rules of using คุณไก่ทวง (Khun Kai Tuang) — what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. If something is unclear, email us at inskruteam@inskru.com; we'd rather you understand than sign blindly.
In legal terms, these Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Inskru Company Limited (บริษัท อินสครู จำกัด) ("we", "us", "our", or "Inskru") for your use of the คุณไก่ทวง (Khun Kai Tuang) product (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to the คุณไก่ทวง product only. Other Inskru products have their own terms; see https://inskru.com.
2. The Service
คุณไก่ทวง is an educational product that helps teachers in Thailand run their classrooms on LINE. Capabilities include:
- Creating and posting assignments and quizzes
- Distributing assignments to students through LINE
- Collecting student work (files, text, links, quiz answers)
- Reviewing, grading, and giving feedback
- AI-assisted grading on individual submissions (opt-in)
- Backing up student work to the teacher's Google Drive (opt-in)
- LINE notifications for class events
- Group assignments and group submission management
The Service is delivered through:
- A LINE LIFF interface (in-LINE mobile experience)
- A web dashboard (desktop)
- LINE notifications
Tiers: We offer a free tier (limited assignments, suitable for evaluation) and paid tiers (unlimited assignments and additional benefits). Each paid tier includes a quota of AI grading credits.

Additional AI grading credits may be purchased separately as add-ons, subject to the prices shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase.

We may add, change, or remove tiers, features, prices, and credit quotas over time. Changes to prices and credit quotas take effect on the date published; existing active paid terms are honored at the price you originally paid until renewal. We will notify you of material changes to these Terms (rules of engagement, your rights, our obligations) through the Service. Pricing-page changes are not themselves material changes to these Terms.
Institutional packages. Schools and other educational institutions may purchase a multi-seat institutional package covering several teachers under a single procurement, governed by a separate Institutional Package Agreement signed between Inskru and the institution. If you are a teacher who joins an institutional package by entering a code provided by your school, these Terms continue to apply to your individual use of the Service. The Institutional Package Agreement governs the school's procurement, the school administrator's oversight access (described in Section 7.2 of the Privacy Policy), and the commercial terms of the package. The in-product disclosure shown when you enter the school code lists what your school administrator will be able to see before you confirm joining. 3. Eligibility
3.1 Teachers
You must be at least 20 years old (or have full legal capacity under Thai law) to register as a teacher.
By registering, you represent and warrant that:
- You are authorized to teach in Thailand
- You have authority from your school to use this Service for your class activities
- For each student in your class, you have obtained (or will obtain before adding the student) any parental or guardian consents required under your school's data handling policy and Thai law, including PDPA §20(2) for students under 10 years old
- These consents cover the student's submissions and related data being processed through คุณไก่ทวง, including (where you have optionally consented at signup) use of de-identified data for AI development and improvement
This warranty is essential to our school-mediated consent model described in Privacy Policy §12. If you cannot meet this warranty for a particular student, do not add that student to the Service.
3.2 Students
Students access the Service when their teacher invites them. By using the Service:
- Students 20 years or older accept these Terms directly
- Students 10–19 years old accept these Terms with the understanding that their teacher has obtained appropriate consent (per §3.1)
- Students under 10 years old participate only when their teacher has obtained verifiable parental consent (per §3.1)
3.3 Schools
Schools and educational institutions may engage the Service on behalf of their teachers and students. School administrators must ensure they have authority under their internal policies and Thai law to:
- Allow teachers to use the Service for class activities
- Process student data through the Service
- Collect parental consents on behalf of the school
This model — schools / teachers acting as the consent collectors for students — follows the standard EdTech industry practice (Google Classroom, Khan Academy, Seesaw, etc.) operating in Thai schools.
4. Account creation and security
4.1 Creating an account
- Teachers create accounts via LINE Login or email/password through the dashboard.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- One person, one account. Sharing accounts is prohibited.
4.2 Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
- All activity under your account
- Notifying us at inskruteam@inskru.com if you suspect unauthorized access
We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized account use that results from your failure to keep credentials secure.
5. License to use the Service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for educational purposes in accordance with these Terms. This license does not transfer ownership of the Service or its underlying technology.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) except through our official APIs
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service
- Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or feature restrictions
- Use the Service in ways that violate Thai law
6. Your content and data
6.1 What "your content" means
"Your Content" includes everything you create, upload, or generate within the Service, including:
- Teacher-authored content: assignments, quizzes, rubrics, feedback comments, prompt templates, classroom configurations
- Student-authored content: submitted files, text, links, quiz answers
- Collaborative content: feedback, grades, AI grading suggestions you accept or reject, group submissions
6.2 Ownership
You retain ownership of Your Content. Teachers retain ownership of their assignments and feedback. Students retain ownership of their submissions.
6.3 License you grant us
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Store, process, and display Your Content within the Service
- Make backup copies for reliability and disaster recovery
- Process Your Content through service providers (LINE, Google, AWS, Supabase, Vercel) as described in our Privacy Policy
- Generate aggregated, anonymized statistics about Service usage
This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where retention is required for legal compliance.
6.4 AI features and Your Content
The Service includes AI-assisted features, governed by these rules:
Per-submission AI grading (opt-in):
- When you grade a specific submission with AI assistance, that submission's content is sent to a third-party AI provider for that one task.
- The AI provider returns a suggestion; you choose whether to accept it.
- The AI provider does not retain your data beyond what is needed to produce the response (per their data processing agreement).
AI development and improvement (separate opt-in at signup, default OFF):
- By default, we do NOT use Your Content to develop or improve AI models.
- If you provide separate consent at signup (or any time later), we may use de-identified copies of all categories of Your Content and data — including assignments, submissions, feedback, quiz answers, grading patterns, classroom workflows, and aggregated usage signals — to develop, evaluate, train, and improve AI features within the Inskru product family.
- Direct identifiers (full names, LINE IDs, email addresses, school names) are stripped before any development use.
- You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing inskruteam@inskru.com. We will stop adding new data immediately and delete or further anonymize already-collected development data within 90 days.
- AI models that have already been trained cannot be untrained — this is a known limitation of machine learning.
- Refusing this consent does not affect your access to the Service.

6.5 Marketing communications (separate opt-in at signup, default OFF)
- By default, we do NOT send you marketing communications about new features, tips, or special offers.
- You will continue to receive service notifications required for using the Service (assignment alerts, billing, legal notices) regardless of your marketing preference — these are part of the Service itself, not marketing.
- If you provide separate consent at signup (or any time later), we may send marketing communications via LINE, email, and in-app notifications.
- You can withdraw at any time by clicking Unsubscribe in any message, or by emailing inskruteam@inskru.com. We will stop within 7 days.
- Refusing this consent does not affect your access to the Service.

6.5 Your responsibilities for Your Content
You represent that:
- You have the right to upload Your Content
- Your Content does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Your Content is appropriate for an educational context (no illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit material involving minors)
- For student content: you (or appropriate parental/guardian consent) authorize the upload
We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
7. Payment, subscription, and refunds
7.1 Pricing
Our current tiers, prices, durations, included AI grading quotas, and AI grading credit add-on prices are published on our pricing page: https://khunkaituang.inskru.com/pricing
Prices are in Thai Baht (THB) and include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) where required.
We may adjust prices, tier structures, and credit quotas at our discretion. Existing active paid terms are honored at the price you originally paid until that term renews. Material changes to these Terms — meaning your rights, our obligations, or the rules of engagement — are notified per Section 16; routine updates to the pricing page are not material changes to these Terms.
7.2 Payment processing
Payments are handled through Stripe Inc. ("Stripe"), our third-party payment processor. Card details are submitted directly to Stripe; we do not store full payment credentials on our servers. We receive only enough information to associate the payment with your account (last 4 digits of card, payment method type, payment status, transaction reference).
We accept:
- Credit / debit card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, etc.) — processed as a recurring subscription.
- PromptPay (Thai QR payment) — processed as a one-time payment for the chosen term.
Your use of payment features is also subject to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
7.3 Subscription term and renewal
Card payments (subscription):
- When you pay by card, Stripe creates a recurring subscription that automatically renews at the end of each term at the same price.
- You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the billing page in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term — you keep access through the term you paid for, and we will not charge your card again.
- We will email reminders before renewals where required by law.
PromptPay payments (one-time):
- When you pay by PromptPay, the payment is one-time only for the chosen term. There is no auto-renewal.
- To continue using paid features after the term ends, you must manually pay again.
When a paid term ends without renewal, your account reverts to the free tier. Existing data remains accessible according to the retention policy in our Privacy Policy.
7.4 Refunds
Statutory 7-day cooling-off right. Under Thailand's Direct Sales and Direct Marketing Act B.E. 2545 §33, you have 7 days from the date of payment to terminate your subscription or AI grading credit purchase and receive a refund. We honor this right as follows:
- Within 7 days of payment, AND if you have used a minimal portion of the paid tier or credit pack (a small number of paid-tier assignments or AI grading credits, as detailed on our refund-policy help page): you may request a full refund by emailing inskruteam@inskru.com. We will process the refund within 15 days of receiving your request, as required by §33.
- Within 7 days of payment, BUT you have used more than the minimal portion: you have effectively consumed the value of the purchase. Under §34 of the Act, the value consumed in the ordinary course of use can be deducted; in our case, this means a partial refund or no refund depending on usage. Contact us and we will assess case by case.
The exact "minimal portion" thresholds are published on our help page so we can adjust them based on operational experience. The thresholds will always be set such that genuine evaluation purchases are refundable.
After the 7-day cooling-off period: all payments are final. Refunds are not provided after this period except at our sole discretion for cases such as:
- Billing errors (you were charged the wrong amount or twice)
- Service outages that prevented you from using paid features for an extended period
- Where required by Thai law
If you believe you qualify for a discretionary refund, contact inskruteam@inskru.com with details of your case. We respond within 14 days.
Why a usage gate is fair. The free tier exists for evaluation. The cooling-off right exists to let you reverse a hasty purchase, not to use the paid Service or AI grading credits for free during the window. The thresholds we publish are set such that meaningful consumption disqualifies refund — but genuine "this isn't right for me" cases qualify.
The free tier is your evaluation period. Please use it to confirm Inskru fits your needs before purchasing a paid plan.
7.5 Failed payment or chargeback
- If a card payment fails (insufficient funds, expired card, etc.), Stripe will retry per its retry schedule. If retries fail, your paid plan may be downgraded to the free tier.
- If you initiate a chargeback after using paid features, your account may be suspended pending resolution.
- Repeated chargebacks may result in account closure.
7.6 Taxes
You are responsible for any taxes applicable to you locally beyond what is included in the published price. For corporate / school invoicing, contact inskruteam@inskru.com.
8. File retention and access
The Service stores submitted files in Thailand (AWS Bangkok region). You should be aware:
- Active access window: typically at least 180 days. Submitted files are accessible through the Service for at least 180 days after upload. We may extend this period at our discretion.
- After 180 days: long-term archive. Files older than 180 days may be moved to long-term archive storage. They remain securely stored but are no longer viewable through the normal Service interface.
- Google Drive backup (optional but recommended). If you connect Google Drive, your submissions are mirrored to your Drive folder through our background sync. Sync typically completes within minutes but may be delayed during high traffic or third-party service issues. You retain full access through Drive after the 180-day window.
- Restoration on request. Archived files can be restored via support; restoration typically takes 12 to 48 hours due to long-term archive retrieval times.
This 180-day window applies to files only. Other content (assignments, quizzes, grades, feedback) remains accessible while your account is active.
You are encouraged to connect Google Drive if you need long-term in-app-style access to files. We will not be responsible for inconvenience caused by file archival when Google Drive was not connected.
9. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Violate any law or regulation
- Harass, threaten, or harm others
- Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Collect personal data of others except as necessary for educational purposes within the Service
- Disrupt or attempt to disrupt the Service's operation
- Test, probe, or scan the Service's security without our written permission
- Use the Service for non-educational commercial purposes
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
10. Third-party integrations
The Service integrates with third parties:
- LINE Corporation: for messaging and authentication. Your use of LINE features is also subject to LINE's terms.
- Google: for optional Drive sync and Google account login. Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's terms.
- Anthropic, OpenAI, or other AI providers: for AI-assisted grading if you opt in.
We are not responsible for the operation of third-party services. If a third-party service becomes unavailable, the corresponding features in the Service may not work.
11. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Occasional downtime may occur for:
- Scheduled maintenance (with notice when possible)
- Emergency security patches
- Third-party service outages (LINE, Google, AWS, Supabase, Vercel, AI providers)
- Force majeure events
We are not liable for losses caused by Service unavailability.
11A. If we shut down or are acquired
Most legal documents leave this question unanswered, which leaves teachers and schools wondering. We want to be explicit about what happens in the two scenarios that matter most.
11A.1 If Inskru shuts down คุณไก่ทวง
If we ever wind down the คุณไก่ทวง product (or the Inskru company operating it), we commit to all of the following:
- At least 90 days' advance notice via LINE and email to all active users
- A data export tool will be unlocked so every teacher can download all of their assignments, class rosters (where allowed by parental consent), grade records, and submission file metadata in a machine-readable format. Where Google Drive backup is enabled, the Drive copies remain available to teachers independently of the Service
- Pro-rata refund for any unused portion of an active paid term, paid via the original payment method or PromptPay
- Free-tier accounts remain accessible read-only for at least the remainder of the current Thai academic year (May–March) so teachers can finish their year without disruption
11A.2 If Inskru is acquired
If Inskru is acquired by, merges with, or transfers the คุณไก่ทวง product to another company, the new owner steps into these Terms and the Privacy Policy. We commit:
- No material worsening of your privacy or pricing terms without at least 30 days' written notice to existing users and a meaningful opportunity to cancel for a pro-rata refund of any remaining paid term
- Existing paid terms are honored at the price you originally paid for the remainder of your current term, regardless of any pricing changes the new owner introduces for new customers
- The Privacy Policy continues to govern your personal data under the new owner until you receive 30 days' notice of any material change, at which point you may opt out (which we will treat as a request to delete your account and data, subject to PDPA retention exceptions)
11A.3 Internal reorganization
Internal restructuring (e.g., creating a subsidiary, moving คุณไก่ทวง to a sister entity within the Inskru group of companies) does not trigger Sections 11A.1 or 11A.2, so long as the same data protection, contractual, and pricing commitments are honored. We will notify you of any such reorganization through the Service.
12. Suspension and termination
12.1 By you
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time through account settings or by emailing inskruteam@inskru.com.
12.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You violate these Terms
- You misuse the Service in a way that harms other users or the Service
- We are legally required to
- Your account has been inactive for more than 2 years
We will give reasonable notice when possible, except for urgent security or legal mandates.
12.3 Effect of termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service ends
- Your Content is deleted within 30 days (subject to legal retention requirements; see Privacy Policy)
- AI training data already de-identified before termination remains subject to your prior consent — see Privacy Policy Section 5.5
- Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (e.g., intellectual property, liability, governing law) continue to apply
13. Disclaimers
13.1 What we DO promise
We will provide the Service substantially as described in these Terms and on our website. If we know of a material defect in the Service that affects your use, we will disclose it and work to remedy it. This is consistent with the Unfair Contract Terms Act B.E. 2540 §6, which we do not seek to override.
13.2 What we do NOT warrant
The following limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted under Thai consumer protection law:

Uptime. The Service may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, third-party outages (LINE, Google, AWS, Stripe, AI providers), software defects, or events outside our reasonable control. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability.

AI accuracy. AI-assisted features (grading suggestions, feedback drafts, plagiarism detection, etc.) produce probabilistic output that may be wrong, biased, or unsuitable for a particular student or context. Teachers are responsible for reviewing AI suggestions before accepting them, and we do not warrant any specific level of AI accuracy, fairness, or appropriateness.

Third-party services. The Service depends on LINE, Google, AWS, Stripe, Vercel, Supabase, Anthropic, OpenAI, and other third parties. We do not warrant their availability, performance, or data handling. If a third-party service fails, the corresponding Service feature may not work.

Data backups. While we operate redundant backup systems, no backup is 100% reliable. You are strongly encouraged to connect Google Drive sync (Section 8) or download files you depend on. We do not warrant that we can recover any specific file in any specific scenario.

Educational outcomes. The Service is a tool to help teachers manage classes. We do not warrant any specific student outcomes, grades, learning gains, or educational results.
13.3 What Thai law preserves regardless
The disclaimers above do not override:
- Liability for defects in the Service that we knew of and did not disclose (per Unfair Contract Terms Act §6)
- Liability for damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct
- Liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence (per Unfair Contract Terms Act §8)
- Statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act and Direct Sales and Direct Marketing Act
- Your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act
These rights are preserved in full and operate independently of the limitations in this section. The financial cap on our liability is described in Section 14.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY THAI LAW, INCLUDING THE UNFAIR CONTRACT TERMS ACT B.E. 2540:
We are NOT liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, goodwill, or business opportunity
- Damages arising from your inability to use the Service due to scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (LINE, Google, AWS, Stripe, AI providers), or force majeure
- Unauthorized access to your account caused by your failure to secure credentials
- Outcomes of AI-generated suggestions that you reviewed and accepted
Liability cap. For matters where we ARE liable, our total cumulative liability is limited to the greater of:
- THB 5,000 (five thousand Thai Baht), OR
- The amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.
This cap is intended to be proportionate to the value of the Service and consistent with ordinary usage in Thai SaaS contracts, taking into account the factors set out in §10 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act B.E. 2540.
Exceptions — the cap does NOT apply to:
- Damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct
- Liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence (per §8 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act, this cannot be excluded)
- Refunds owed for failed payments or billing errors
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Thai mandatory law (including consumer protection law)
Loss of submission data — special note. Submission files are covered by retention and access rules in our Privacy Policy §9. We strongly recommend connecting Google Drive sync (Service §8) so you maintain an independent backup. Our cap and exceptions above apply to data loss claims; we are not liable beyond that for files lost where you did not maintain a Drive backup that was technically available to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inskru Company Limited, its officers, employees, and agents from any third-party claims arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your Content (including IP infringement claims)
- Your misuse of the Service
- Your violation of laws or third-party rights
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law.
For material changes affecting your rights or obligations (including changes to AI training scope, retention, or third-party sharing), we will:
- Notify you via LINE and/or email at least 30 days before the change takes effect
- Where required, request your fresh acceptance before applying the change
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Disputes:
- We encourage you to contact us first at inskruteam@inskru.com — most issues can be resolved through direct communication.
- If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of Bangkok, Thailand have exclusive jurisdiction, except where Thai consumer protection law gives you the right to a different venue.
18. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: these Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific terms we provide) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Language: these Terms are provided in English and Thai. In case of conflict, the Thai version prevails.
